Soft Tissue Therapy Massage Therapy

More than just massage — this is targeted treatment for real results.

Soft Tissue Therapy goes beyond relaxation. It’s a clinically-informed, hands-on treatment designed to assess, treat, and rehabilitate musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Whether you’re battling old injuries, dealing with work-related tension, or recovering from sport, Soft Tissue Therapy combines deep tissue massage, advanced techniques, and tailored movement advice to help you feel and function better.

At Well Health Therapy, we’re trained to BTEC Level 5 — one of the highest massage qualifications in the UK — giving us the tools to work alongside physios, osteopaths, and chiropractors, or as your go-to therapist for injury management and long-term wellness.

What to Expect

Your session begins with a thorough chat and assessment — looking at posture, movement, and your goals. From there, we’ll create a bespoke treatment plan, blending techniques such as:

  • Deep tissue massage for releasing chronic tension

  • Trigger point therapy to target stubborn knots

  • Soft tissue release (STR) and muscle energy techniques (METs) to improve range of motion

  • Rehab advice and simple exercises to support recovery outside the clinic

Every session is tailored — we’ll work with your body, not against it, and always stay within your comfort zone.

Who It’s For

Soft Tissue Therapy is ideal if you:

  • Experience chronic neck, shoulder, or lower back pain

  • Feel the effects of repetitive strain, poor posture, or desk work

  • Are recovering from injury, surgery, or training loads

  • Need help managing muscle tightness, stiffness, or joint restrictions

  • Want a structured, therapeutic approach to pain or performance issues

More Than ‘Just’ Massage

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment. Soft Tissue Therapy integrates:

  • Clinical assessment to understand the root cause of your symptoms

  • Manual techniques to reduce pain and restore movement

  • Rehab exercises to reinforce progress and prevent recurrence

Our goal? To get you moving well, feeling better, and back to doing what you love — with confidence.

Why Choose Soft Tissue Therapy?

  • Longer-lasting results than general massage

  • Functional focus: posture, movement, and everyday performance
